儿童教育 Programs


The School of Education's childhood education majors are designed to help students develop knowledge and 技能 necessary for effective teaching in today's elementary schools.



Four distinct Bachelor of Science degrees are available:

This prepares you for New York state certification in childhood education (grades 1-6).


Requirements-Final2

童年 & early childhood education

This prepares you for New York state certification in childhood education (grades 1-6) with dual certification in early childhood education (birth-grade 2).

Requirements-Final2

包容的童年 education

This leads to dual New York state certification in childhood education (grades 1-6) and students with disabilities (grades 1-6).

Requirements-Final2

包容的童年 & early childhood education

This leads to triple New York state certification in early childhood education (birth to age 2), childhood education (grades 1-6) and students with disabilities (grades 1-6).

      2023年11月03日|博士. 唐娜Dombek, assistant professor in the childhood education program, presented at the annual conference of the New York State Association of Teacher Educators/New York Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, held at Saratoga Springs Oct. 25-27, 2023.

      2023年9月7日|博士. Diana Lawrence-Brown, professor emerita of inclusive special education, and Dr. Pamina Abkowitz, assistant professor of childhood education, had a chapter published in the peer-reviewed text titled "DI Around the World — Exploring Differentiated Instructional Practice in General School Education."

      May 18, 2023 | The School of Education at St. 博纳旺蒂尔大学 has received accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), an internationally recognized accrediting body that works to ensure excellence in education preparation programs.
